15 Ducks stolen: Kidderminster

Police are appealing for information about the theft of 15 ducks from Kidderminster.

The call ducks, which were 15 weeks old, were taken from an allotment behind Sutton Park Community School, Greatfield Road, between Wednesday and Thursday, 28th to 29th May.

There were nine drakes and six ducks, worth £20 each, and they had had their wings clipped so would not have been able to fly off. The drakes had blue rings around their legs.

A few months ago their parents - three ducks and two drakes - were stolen along with eight to 12 eggs.

The owner is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offenders.

Note: we are trying to get photos of the ducks, and will email these through early next week.

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Community Support Officer Derya Mustafa on 08457 4448888 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
