A van driver stole almost £12,000 worth of champagne from Woolston.
The man, in his 30s, posed as a van driver before stealing more than 300 bottles of bubbly worth £11,600 from a warehouse on Hardwick Grange.
The theft took place at 6.50pm on Friday, July 25 and the company had been expecting a collection.
He took: l 54 bottle of Moet Chandon (white) l 90 bottles of Veurve Cliquot (white) l 48 bottles of Moet Chandon (pink) l 96 bottles of Veurve Cliquot (rose) l 30 bottles of Don Perinion l 30 bottles of Louis Roederer Police say he was driving a white van with a distinctive red stripes six inces from the bottom.
The driver was in his 30s, with a medium build and dark brown eyes. He was 5ft 10ins tall and was wearing a cream shirt and dark, spotty shorts.
