Police in Bradford are appealing for information about an armed attempted robbery at a newsagents on Mill Street (off Beacon Road) in Wibsey.

At approximately 12.38pm on Sunday, 2 November, two masked men dressed in black entered the shop with a weapon and approached the shopkeeper.

They attempted to rob him, but he refused their demands.

The two suspects left the premises empty handed and were seen running across Beacon Road and into the main entrance of Wibsey Park.

No one was injured during the incident.
