Armed Robbery - Billingborough Post Office, Sleaford Police investigating an armed robbery at Billingborough Post Office on Thursday 20 December are re-appealing for witnesses. The vehicle used in the robbery was found abandoned at just after 6p.m. on the same day, at Sempringham Fen Lane, just off the B1177. Anyone who saw this vehicle, a silver Honda Accord, registration J152 KJR, either in the Billingborough area, or travelling between Billingborough and Sempringham Fen, is asked to contact the police. The vehicle is thought to have been stolen earlier in the day on 20 December from the Peterborough area, so police would like to hear of any sightings of the car or its occupants at any time during Thursday 20 December. Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen a light- coloured transit type van either in the Billingborough or Sempringham Fen area. Police are continuing to conduct their investigations into this incident.
