Police Appeals on The Missing List

If you have witnessed a crime, or have information about crime, you are encouraged to contact the police immediately.

You can get in touch with the originators of appeals listed here through the our Control Centre or call Crimestoppers (the leading UK-wide charity working to stop crime) which operates an anonymous 24/7 phoneline on 0800 555 111.

As an added incentive to doing your civic duty there may be a reward waiting to be claimed.

In LIST view you can search appeals by the geographic areas of police forces and by appeal category.   In MAP view you can search by date (month/year) and by appeal category.

In LIST view you can also choose to exclude appeals which do not carry a reward.

Appeals by non-geographic police forces (such as the British Transport Police) are listed within the geographic area of the police force where the incident which prompted the appeal occured.
Many police forces cover more than one county and/or overlap county boundries.
