Burglary: Welwyn Garden City

Poice are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary in Welwyn Garden City on Wednesday, July 9.

The incident occurred between 1am and 10am when an offender entered a property in Carve Ley through an insecure rear UPVC sliding door and stole property within.

Property stolen includes:

  • A gold saxophone mouth piece
  • Guitar leads and adaptor
  • A folder containing sheet music
  • A tambourine
  • A cabasa (musical instrument)
  • Two saxophone ligatures 

PC Sarah Corr from Hatfield Police Station is investigating and said: "This burglary has caused the victim much distress and inconvenience and I am appealing for the public's help in tracing the offender and the stolen items. If you know anything about the crime, recognise the description of the items and know their whereabouts or have been offered them for sale please get in touch with police.

"Remember handling stolen goods is a crime so it's important you let us know if you think you have been offered them."
