Overnight between the 14 and 15 October 2008, 12 butterfly koi carp were stolen from a pond in a garden of a house on Grange Avenue, Flimby. These koi carp are very distinctive and have butterfly wing type fins.

These fish are exceptionally rare and anyone who has information about the theft, current whereabouts or any other information regarding the theft is requested to contact PC Liz Hampson at Maryport Police Station on 0845 33 00 247 or any police officer or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
