Detectives investigating the murder of Philip Sherriff have released CCTV images of a woman to whom they would like to speak.

Officers believe the woman is a vital witness but despite various enquiries, they have been unable to identify her.

Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating the circumstances of a shooting incident at Legnatraw, St. Johnston, Co. Donegal on the 1st May 2012, the shooting occurred between 10 and 10.30pm.

It is believed that at least two armed and masked males entered a house at Legnatraw and were involved in a shooting incident where a male (39yrs) received gun shot injuries.
