    Dogs remain missing after outbuilding and shed break-ins: Faygate

    Police are investigating the disappearance of two dogs in a linked series of thefts which has seen equipment being from outbuildings and sheds in Faygate and Colegate in the last two weeks.

    The latest theft saw a number of outbuildings forced in Wimlands Lane, Faygate overnight on Sunday, 6 May and Monday 7 May.

    Police are appealing to members of the public as part of an investigation into the theft of a parrot from Farmyard Funworld in Bushey on Friday, May 4.

    At around 3.55pm two offender(s) went into the main reception area.

    One of them picked up a parrot called Oscar, which had been on top of a cage at the time and took it.

    Police are appealing for information after five rare breed hens were stolen from Temple Newsam Farm in Leeds.

    The theft was discovered on Friday (4/5) morning and they are believed to have taken place overnight from 6pm on Thursday (3/5).

    Five hens were stolen in total; four large black Transylvanian naked neck hens and one Wheaten Marsh Daisy Hen.

    Detectives in Swale are investigating after snakes believed to be worth £20,000 were reported to have been stolen from an address in Sheerness.

    The offence is reported to have occurred overnight on 28 April.

    A shed at an address in St Georges Avenue, Sheerness, is reported to have been broken in to and 29 Royal Python snakes stolen.

    Police in Alness are looking for information regarding the theft of animals and feed from a farm near Evanton, Ross-Shire.

    On Monday 2nd April 2012, it was discovered that several animals and animal feed had been stolen from the Novar Dairy near Evanton.

    After careful examination of the scene by a Wildlife Crime Officer, of the theft at The Heck, Lockerbie, (Release 0156), it now transpires that the 40 Koi carp fish which were thought to have been stolen, have been taken by an animal, and probably an otter. 

    As such no crime has been committed.

    Sometime between Tuesday 10 and Friday 13 April 19 Scotch Mule Ewe Hoggs were stolen from a field at a Kirkcolm Farm.

    The total value of the missing animals is around £3,400.

    Appeal following theft of pregnant Shar Pei and puppy: Sunbank Lane, Ringway

    A pregnant dog and another puppy worth thousands of pounds were stolen by heartless thieves during a break-in in Ringway.

    It happened at their owner's home on Sunbank Lane in South Manchester between 1pm and 4.30pm on Friday 20 April 2012.

    The thieves are believed to have scaled the house and forced their way in through an upstairs window.

    Police are appealing for information after 65 budgies were stolen from an address in Beck Row.

    The incident occurred to the rear of a house in The Street between 10pm on Monday 16 April and 5.15am the following day.

    Offenders entered the garden through an insecure gate, broke into the aviary and removed the breeding birds, leaving behind the eggs and chicks.

    Scarborough police are appealing for information after two pet rabbits were stolen from a garden in Heathcliffe Gardens in the town

    Overnight on Sunday 8 April, into the morning of Monday 9 April 2012, the rabbits, who are father and son, were stolen from their hutches.

  • Nine-month-old dwarf rabbit stolen from rear garden: Hartlepool

    Police are appealing for information after the theft of a family pet from a garden in Hartlepool.

    Between 7pm on Tuesday 27th March and 6.45am on Wednesday 28th March a nine-month-old dwarf rabbit was stolen from the rear garden of an address in Heathfield Drive.

    The rabbit is described as brown and black in colour and is lop-eared.

    Elderly gentleman left 'very upset' following theft of 30 canaries from shed: Lingfield Common

    Surrey Police is appealing information following the theft of 28 or 29 distinctive and award winning red canaries from a property in Lingfield.

    The theft took place between 7.30pm on Sunday, 25 March and 8am on Monday, 26 March after thieves broke into a shed at the property in the Lingfield Common area.

    Six-year-old cocker spaniel Pip was taken from the farm at Woodham Ferrers on Tuesday, March 13, 2012.

    She disappeared from her kennel between 4 and 4.30pm.
