A cannabis factory containing half a million pounds worth of plants has been discovered in Avonmouth.
Following a report of suspicious behaviour in the docks area officers attended a disused commercial property yesterday evening (Thursday 26th April 2012).
Within the building police located around 500 mature cannabis plants ready to be cropped.
Police have seized a cannabis farm with nearly 50 plants from a house in Bedlington.
Officers from Bedlington Neighbourhood Policing Team responding to community concerns carried out a search warrant at a house in Edward Road in Bedlington on Tuesday, April 24 and found 47 cannabis plants.
Emergency services were called to a property on Liscard Road at about 8.30am to a report of a fire.
