    A cannabis factory containing half a million pounds worth of plants has been discovered in Avonmouth.

    Following a report of suspicious behaviour in the docks area officers attended a disused commercial property yesterday evening (Thursday 26th April 2012).

    Within the building police located around 500 mature cannabis plants ready to be cropped.

    Police have seized a cannabis farm with nearly 50 plants from a house in Bedlington.

    Officers from Bedlington Neighbourhood Policing Team responding to community concerns carried out a search warrant at a house in Edward Road in Bedlington on Tuesday, April 24 and found 47 cannabis plants.

    Emergency services were called to a property on Liscard Road at about 8.30am to a report of a fire.

    Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the blaze.

    An examination of the property revealed a cannabis farm containing approximately 800 plants and a sophisticated hydroponics system.

    300 cannabis plants discovered in house: Cheshunts, Pitsea

    Police in Pitsea uncovered more than 300 cannabis plants after executing a search warrant.

    Officers forced entry to a house in Cheshunts at around 10.30am on Sunday, March 25, 2012 and discovered around 360 small cannabis plants as well as hydroponics and cultivation paraphernalia.

    The drugs and paraphernalia were seized.

    On Friday 16/03/2012 officers executed a search warrant in the Tattershall area and uncovered and extensive cannabis cultivation operation.

    Nearly 800 mature plants, 500 seedlings and several large bags of cropped cannabis bush were recovered.

    These will be destroyed, along with the hydroponics lighting rigs and ventilation systems.

    Avon and Somerset Police has seized more than 100 cannabis plants found hidden in underground bunkers concealed by caravans.

    The cannabis factories were found yesterday (Thursday 15th March 2012) in West Bagborough, near Taunton as part of Operation Viscount - a dedicated operation to tackle cannabis cultivation across the force area.

    Police in Gloucester seized cannabis plants believed to have a street value up to several thousand pounds at a house in Parkend Road last week.

    Over 300 cannabis plants were seized by officers carrying out a drugs warrant in Cinderford.

    The haul of cannabis plants was found at around 3pm on Friday March 9 at Forest Vale Industrial Estate.

    During the raid, 365 cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of at least £36,500, were found by police.

    Police have seized over 1,000 cannabis plants from a barn in Terrington St Clement.

    The large-scale cannabis factory was discovered after a call from a member of the public around 2pm on Thursday 1 March.

    Forensic officers are still at the scene on Station Road, Terrington St Clement, just off the A17 and their investigations are continuing.

    On Thursday Feb 16 officers executed a search warrant at the unit after information from a member of the public.

    Inside they found a number of plants and cultivation equipment - the exact number are not yet known.

    Two men have been arrested in St Neots this morning (Friday February 10) following a drugs raid in the town.

    Officers have discovered more than 130 cannabis plants in several sheds and a caravan in Cambridge Road.

    The plants are worth an estimated £40,000.

    The warrant was executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

    Police have arrested two men after carrying out search warrants at three Gateshead homes this week.

    On Monday, January 23, a warrant was executed at Pleasant Place in Birtley and 23 mature cannabis plants were recovered at the address.

    A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis plants and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

    Over £40,000 worth of cannabis was seized as police raided four addresses in Skelmersdale.

    Warrants were executed at properties on Elswick, Abbeywood, Blythewood and Fairstead on Thursday 19 January and Friday 20 January.

    At the Fairstead address over 100 cannabis plants - with an estimated street value of £40,000 - were seized.
