  • Jeweller manages to raise alarm after being forced to open shop: Wellington Road, Dudley

    Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery and kidnap after a jewellery shop owner was taken from his home in Dudley and made to open up his store.

    At around 9.30pm last night, a group of five men broke into the home of a 41-year-old man.

    He was assaulted with a hammer, causing injuries to his foot.

    At 11.20am on Tuesday 12 October 2010, a man went into the back garden of a house on Gibbon Avenue and walked into the house.

    Police probing complaints about a car clamping firm in conjunction with Worcestershire Trading Standards have arrested a man.

    The man, who is from the Redditch area, was arrested yesterday (Tuesday, June 2) on suspicion of blackmail and later released on police bail until July 14.

    Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was threatened with dogs while he played with his children in a park.

    The incident occurred on Saturday 11th April 2009 in the play area of Lincombe Barn Folk Centre Park in Overndale Road, Downend, Bristol.

  • Man with camcorder causing distress: Torrington

    Police in Torrington are trying to identify a man whose behaviour has caused some distress to women in the town.

    The man has approached women with a video camera and filmed them without their consent and when challenged on one occasion was said to have reacted in an intimidating manner.
