Police have released the image of a man wanted in connection with an attempted robbery in north Manchester.
At around 4.20pm on Monday 14 May 2012, a man walked into the Ladbrokes bookmakers on Oldham Road, Miles Platting and walked up to a member of staff behind the counter.

Detectives in Birmingham are appealing for help in tracing two men who assaulted and robbed a man in his own home.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday 25 March in Cheapside, Highgate, after the 40-year-old victim had been out drinking in Digbeth on the Saturday evening.

Investigators have isolated CCTV images of a man that they would like to speak to in connection with the incident on the 00.05 London Liverpool Street to Goodmayes service.

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a robbery at a mobile phone store.
Thousands of pounds worth of phone handsets and consoles were stolen from Carphone Warehouse in Mansfield Road, Arnold, at about 6pm on Tuesday 7 February.

A man carrying a mug of coffee robbed a newsagent in Woodhouse Park.
The offender is one of two men who robbed Oasis News on Portway at about 10.45am on New Year's Day.
The pair handed a bin bag to a cashier and demanded he fill it with cigarettes and tobacco.
In total four bin bags were filled with cigarettes and tobacco.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery at a shop in Redditch today (Wednesday, 9 May) carried out by two men wearing orange, high visibility vests.
A substantial amount of cash and jewellery was stolen in the robbery which happened at about 8.20am at Cash Converters on Unicorn Hill.

Independent charity Crimestoppers is today offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information following the murder of a pensioner in Coleraine, Northern Ireland.
The incident occurred when an intruder broke into a bungalow in Glenmore Gardens, and assaulted 72-year-old Bertie Acheson, before threatening his wife and demanding she hand over money.

He then verbally demanded money which was handed over by the cashier.

A 24-year-old man was approached by a woman after leaving The Solstice, in Northminster, at about 2.30am on Saturday (April 28).
