  • black Gilera DNA 50 moped
    Man with 'red and white' hair steals moped on test drive: Calverton

    A moped was stolen from Calverton when a man failed to return after taking it for a test drive.

    The thief contacted the owner of the vehicle after he listed his black Gilera DNA 50 moped for sale on trading website Gumtree.

  • Man with distinctive tattoo on hand assaults owner before stealing car on test drive: Salford

    On Saturday 20 August 2011, the offender went to a showroom on Liverpool Road, Irlam, and asked to test drive an Audi A4.

    A 47-year-old woman went out with the man and as he approached Irlam fire station on Fairhills Road told her to get out and began pulling her hair and punching her in the head.

  • Appeal following aggravated TWOC: St John's Road, Spalding

    Police are appealing for information following an incident of aggravated TWOC (Taking Without Owner's Consent) that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.

    The offenders forced entry to a blue Cinquecento that was parked in St John's Road and attempted to push it away.

  • Porsche Cayenne amongst items stolen in high value break-in: Haughhead Avenue, Earlston

    The incident happened sometime between 3pm on Sunday 27th February and 9am on Sunday 13th March at an address in Haughhead Avenue, Earlston.

    The suspects gained entry to the property before causing significant damage within.

  • Vauxhall Astra, ST08 RGV, stolen from public car-park: Kirriemuir

    Officers in Angus are investigating the theft of a car parked in the public car park in the Hill Rise area of Kirriemuir.

    Sometime overnight between Monday 26 July and Tuesday 27 July a red Vauxhall Astra hatchback was stolen.

    The car would bear the registration ST08 RGV when taken.

  • Quad bike and mower stolen from farm outbuilding: Breadstone, Berkeley

    Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an outbuilding of a farm in Breadstone near Berkeley.

    Between 6.30pm on Sunday July 25 and 7am on Monday July 26 unknown offenders forced entry to the building and stole a red Honda quad bike and a red Castel Garden sit on mower.

    The items are valued at a total of £3000.

  • 17-year-old tricked out of moped: Manor Way, Borehamwood

    Police are appealing for information after a moped was stolen in Borehamwood last week (Monday, May 30).

    The offender, a white teenage boy, stopped the rider of the moped, a 17-year-old from Borehamwood, in Manor Way at 4.15pm.

    He convinced the rider to allow him to have a go on the moped.

    He then rode off with the bike and did not return.

  • Three children hurt in collision as police follow car taken without consent: Rochdale

    Three children were taken hospital after they collided with a car in Rochdale.

    Shortly after 3.45pm on Tuesday 18 May 2010, police received reports of a collision between a red Nissan Primera and pedestrians on Ashfield Road.

  • Intruders attack couple with lawn edging tool: Blackley

    A woman suffered three breaks to her arm when she was viciously attacked with a gardening tool in her own home.

    The victim, 67, and her 65-year-old husband, were robbed at their home on Pennine Close in Blackley at about 11.30pm on Friday 22 January 2010.

    The couple were about to go to bed for the night when the victim answered a knock on the door.

  • Trailer theft, two separate incidents: Falkirk

    Police are appealing for information after two trailers were stolen from separate addresses.

    The first was taken sometime between Saturday November 28 and Thursday December 3 from an addresses in Mamre Drive, California.

    A black Blue Line box trailer with white and red writing and a rear aluminium shutter door was stolen.

  • Boat stolen from caravan park secure yard: Trearddur Bay

    Sometime between the morning of Thursday 15th and 16:45 on Saturday, 17th October a boat was stolen from a secure yard at Bagnol Caravan Park in Trearddur Bay.

  • Taxi stolen as driver collects fare: Buller Street, Looe

    The incident took place just after midnight on Sunday, 13 September 2009, when the driver of the taxi left the vehicle for a short time outside the Bullers Arms in Buller Street while he went to collect a fare.

    When he returned, the taxi had been taken without his consent.

    The vehicle was later found abandoned undamaged outside the Fire Station in West Looe.

  • Car stolen with five-year-old child in back: Middleton

    At 1.30pm on Monday 10 August 2009, a 32-year-old woman stopped in her grey Vauxhall Astra on Boardman Lane after going out with her five-year-old son.

    She had left the engine running while she got out momentarily and a man got in the car.

  • Three men assaulted and car taken: McDonald's, Ashton-on-Ribble

    Approximately 12.35am on Saturday 27 June 2009, three men drove to the McDonald's on Pedders Way, Ashton in a silver MG ZR.

    They ordered food and parked in the waiting bay before a group of four or five men pulled up in a metallic blue BMW one series car.

    The group in the BMW began to shout abuse at the men in the MG.

  • Thief steals 76-year-old man's car driving over his foot: Walton Hall

    Merseyside Police is appealing for information on a robbery at Walton Hall sports centre just before 1pm on Wednesday, 17 June.

    A 76-year-old man was shutting a gate next to the car park when a man ran towards him, pushed him over and stole his car.
