    Detectives investigating the abduction and assault of a teenager from the Clacton area are now able to release further information.

    The young woman was walking along Rush Green Road, Clacton at about 8.15 pm on Monday, March 1 when she was approached by a man who was on foot.

  • Man abducted in own vehicle and robbed: Hemel Hempstead

    Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an incident in Hemel Hempstead on Friday night (February 26).

    At about 8.50pm in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead, it is believed that a man in his 60s was taken against his will in his own vehicle, a red Citeron Xsara, by two offenders.

    The appeal was accompanied by a full reconstruction of the incident and an interview with the victim, to prompt anyone with information to come forward.

    A 38-year-old Southampton man was arrested on Friday, February 12, on suspicion of aiding and abetting the false imprisonment and actual bodily harm of a 23-year-old woman.

    Police are appealing for information after a male reported being driven to Cambridgeshire from Newmarket against his will.

    The man in his 20s was cycling along the Yellow Brick Road near Exeter Road between 9pm and 10pm last night Monday 1st February when he claims a male and a female stopped him.

    Paul Brady, 44, (pictured) was kidnapped from the Beaufort Road area of Weir, Bacup on Saturday, August 1st 2009.

    Detectives at Hamilton are appealing for witnesses after a 43-year-old woman was forced to drive from Blantyre to Bothwell then robbed yesterday evening, Sunday 17 January 2010.

    Around 2140 hours on Sunday night, the victim, who is a driver for Station Coaches, had returned to the yard in John Street, Blantyre, after dropping off a group of passengers.

    At 17.20 this evening (Tuesday 22 December 2009) South Wales Police received a report of a stolen vehicle with a young child inside from Park Grove, Cardiff.

    The car was recovered at 18.30 this evening and the child was found safe and well.

    Police are appealing for information from members of the public on the whereabouts of a man from St Albans.

    Mohammed Shakeel Ashraf is 23-years-old and from Camp Road, St Albans.

    Ashraf is wanted in connection with an alleged kidnap in Cell Barnes Lane, between 4pm and 4.30pm on Thursday, December 3.

    Police are appealing for witnesses after two men escaped from a van in which they were travelling as passengers.

    The first man jumped out of the white Vauxhall Astra Van on the A55 in Old Colwyn in the early hours of Monday 7th December, at about 1.20am.

    Northumbria Police have released images of a man they need to trace in connection with an incident in London.

    On July 27 this year Northumbria Police received a report from the Metropolitan Police that a 23-year-old man had attended a police station in London claiming to have been taken from an address at The Willows, Newcastle, by two men, and driven to London.
