Detectives investigating the abduction and assault of a teenager from the Clacton area are now able to release further information.

The young woman was walking along Rush Green Road, Clacton at about 8.15 pm on Monday, March 1 when she was approached by a man who was on foot.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an incident in Hemel Hempstead on Friday night (February 26).

At about 8.50pm in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead, it is believed that a man in his 60s was taken against his will in his own vehicle, a red Citeron Xsara, by two offenders.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service appeared on BBC Crimewatch (Thursday 25 February) to appeal for information following a robbery in Ealing in September 2009.

Update: Bitterne detectives who are investigating the assault of a woman who was held against her will have arrested a man.

A 38-year-old Southampton man was arrested on Friday, February 12, on suspicion of aiding and abetting the false imprisonment and actual bodily harm of a 23-year-old woman.

Officers and family of missing schoolboy Martin Allen appeal for information 30 years after his disappearance.

Martin Allen, 15-years-old at the time, disappeared whilst on his way home from school on Monday 5th November 1979.

Police are appealing for information from members of the public on the whereabouts of a man from St Albans.

Mohammed Shakeel Ashraf is 23-years-old and from Camp Road, St Albans.
