  • Householder assaulted chasing vandalism suspects: The Meadows, Redcar

    Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident on Friday 16th July at around 00.10am.

    As a man and his partner watched TV they heard arguing outside of the property they were in, on the housing estate known as The Meadows on the Lakes Estate in Redcar.

    Shortly after this a window to the back of the property was smashed by a bottle.

  • Witness appeal after resident arrested in 'garden fork' incident: Luton

    Luton Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident that happened in Russell Rise, Luton on Thursday 15 July 2010.

    At about 5.00pm that day, a serious disturbance occurred in the street between a male resident of Russell Rise and the occupants of a white Citroen Berlingo van, which had been parked nearby.

    Thames Valley Police in Milton Keynes are appealing for the public's help to identify the man pictured in the CCTV in connection with a racially aggravated public order offence.

    At around 5pm on 4 April, the victim was walking down the corridor of Mellish Court, Bletchley, and opened a glass interior door in the hallway.

  • Police appealing for witnesses after shots fired in street: Wythenshawe

    Just before 11.40pm on Tuesday 6 July 2010, a group of men were seen arguing on Longmere Avenue, Poundswick.

    The sound of gunfire was heard and the men were seen running off.

    A forensic examination of the scene has taken place and enquires are continuing.

    Six police officers have been injured during disturbances in the Broadway and Bog Meadows areas of Belfast for a second night.

  • Maternity ward staff threatened with shooting: Tameside General Hospital

    Between 11.30am and 12.10pm on Friday 25 June 2010, police were called to Tameside General Hospital, following reports that staff had been threatened.

    Abuse had been hurled at them and they were even threatened that they would be shot.

    Nobody was injured, but staff were left shaken.

  • Witness appeal after affray in alleyway near post office: Cornhill, Bury St Edmunds

    Cornhill, Bury St Edmunds between 9pm and 9.15pm on Tuesday 15/06/10, a fight occurred between a white male and two asian males in alleyways near the post office in the town centre.

    Police are appealing for witnesses to this incident.

  • 32-year-old man critical after stabbing: Manchester

    A man is in a critical condition after being stabbed in Manchester city centre.

    Shortly after 2.20am on Wednesday 16 June 2010, police were called to George Street, Chinatown, following reports of a group fighting.

    Six men were taken to hospital with stab wounds.

  • Two men sought following glass fight outside pub: The Paddox, Rugby

    PC Alastair Kissoon is appealing for witnesses following an affray which occurred at the Paddox Public House, Hillmorton Road, Rugby.

    The incident occurred between 5-5.15pm and involved two men who had a verbal altercation outside the pub in a seating area in the pub car park.

  • Detectives trying to trace victim of bar attack: Withington

    At about 2.30am on Sunday 23 May 2010, a man was hit with a glass and assaulted inside Remedy Nightclub, Withington.

    A 31-year-old man was detained by staff at the club and subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault and affray.

    The victim, who had blood over his face and neck, left the club and ran off towards the city centre.

  • Warning following beach party: Hunstanton

    Police have issued a warning to parents after a teenage beach party in Old Hunstanton got out of hand at the weekend.

    Officers were forced to disperse groups of youths and confiscate a large quantity of alcohol from underage drinkers on several occasions during Friday evening.

    Football disorder after Huddersfield Town v Millwall, CCTV issued: Waterloo

    Police in Kirklees have today released a selection of CCTV images of people they would like to speak to in connection with football disorder that occurred at around 7pm on 16 April at Wakefield Road in the Waterloo area of Huddersfield.

    It followed the League One game between Huddersfield Town and Millwall.

  • Intoxicated mother threatens police with knife: Newton Poppleford

    A 22 year old woman has been charged with affray and assault after an incident in Newton Poppleford.

    At around 0200hrs on Wed 5th May following the report of a domestic related incident elsewhere, Police attended an address in Capper Close, Newton Poppleford to locate a female suspect and check on the welfare of her two young children.

  • Woman issued with first nationwide Drinking Banning Order: Bromsgrove

    A woman from Bromsgrove has become the first person in the country to be issued with a Drinking Banning Order (DBO) banning her from licensed premises and off-licences across England and Wales.

    Twenty-year-old Laura Hall, formerly from the Stoke Heath area of Bromsgrove, was issued with the DBO by Kidderminster magistrates this morning (Thursday 15 April).

  • Appeal after Abbey Vaults altercation spills onto street: Selby

    Police investigating an assault in Selby are appealing for witnesses to help with their enquiries.

    At around 8.55pm on Sunday 4 April 2010 approximately 12 people were involved in a disturbance at the Abbey Vaults public house in James Street.

    The incident continued on Market Cross between the Abbey Vaults and the Yorkshire Bank.
