  • Re-appeal for witnesses one week on from serious assault on 18-year-old man: Barrow

    One week after a man was seriously assaulted in the town, Barrow detectives are urging revellers who were out that night to come forward with information.

    At 3.18am last Saturday (24 July), an 18-year-old local man was found unconscious in an alleyway off Dalton Road in Barrow.

  • Gravel thrown through window hits 16-year-old girl: Frostenden Crescent, Lowestoft

    Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident at an address in Frostenden Crescent around 6.20pm on Saturday 10 July.

    A 16-year-old girl was allegedly struck when someone threw gravel through a window at a property there.

    She was uninjured but police would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident.

    Police have released CCTV images of a man they need to speak to in connection with a racial incident in Newcastle.

    It happened at around 10.20pm on Friday May 28, 2010, when the victim, a man aged 56, was waiting at the bus stop on Blackett Street for the X47 bus.

    He was approached by a man who has racially abused him.

  • People with learning difficulties subjected to abuse at campsite: Glastonbury

    Police are appealing for information after a group of vulnerable people with learning difficulties camping at Tor Leisure Centre, Glastonbury, was subjected to verbal abuse early on Sunday morning (July 25).

    The incident happened at around 3am when a group of people shouted racial abuse and shone laser pens and bright torches at the victims.

    Police are appealing for information in relation to an incident of racial harassment in the Bideford area.

    On Saturday 24 July 2010 at about 5pm, police were called by a member of the public regarding an Asian family who were verbally abused while on the seafront at Westward Ho!

  • 20-year-old woman forced into car to be assaulted and robbed: Hinckley

    Police are appealing for witnesses for an incident which occurred in Hinckley town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning (July 25).

    A 20-year-old woman was forced into a black car near Balloonatics in Rugby Road at about 1.30am.

    She had her handbag stolen and received minor injuries.

  • 14-year-old boy indecently assaulted in swimming pool changing rooms: Hockley

    Police have appealed for information after a teenage boy was indecently assaulted at a swimming pool in Hockley.

    The 14-year-old boy from the Southend area was drying his hair in the changing rooms at Clements Hall Leisure Centre when he was approached by a middle-aged man who grabbed him by the throat and indecently assaulted him.

  • Witness appeal to two possibly linked robberies: Aylesbury

    Thames Valley Police in Aylesbury is appealing for witnesses after two robberies on Wednesday (21/7).

    The first robbery took place at 2.50am after two women and a man accepted an invitation to a party from four men they met in Yates Bar in High Wycombe.

    On route to the party the victim wanted to get out of the vehicle.

  • 87-year-old woman assaulted and robbed in her home: Callander

    Police are appealing for information after an 87-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed during the early hours of Sunday (July 19).

    The incident occurred around 1.45am within her home in the Marshall Crescent area, of Callander.

    Although not injured the elderly woman was taken to Stirling Royal Infirmary and is currently being cared for by her family

  • Man attempts to snatch 56-year-old woman's handbag: Denby

    A woman was left shaken but unhurt following an attempted robbery in Denby.

    At about 10.25am on Wednesday, July 14, a 56-year-old woman was walking along Brookvale Road when she was approached from behind by a man, who tried to snatch her handbag.

    She fell to the floor and the man ran off empty-handed toward Danesby Rise.

  • Appeal for witnesses after 13-year-old paperboy assaulted: Mountain Ash

    South Wales Police is appealing for information on an attempt robbery of a teenage boy in Mountain Ash.

    The 13-year-old was delivering papers in the Triangle area of Caegarw at around 6am on Friday, July 2 when he was punched by an older teenager who demanded money.

    The victim managed to break free and run from the lane towards Aberffrwd Road.

    Chilton Way, Stowmarket at around 6.35pm 02/07/10.

    Police are appealing for information after a 12 year old girl was assaulted in woodland.

    She was walking near the pond when a male grabbed her arm from behind, she struggled free and ran away.

    The male left towards Onehouse.

    The girl suffered scratches to her arm.

    Police in Camden are appealing for information and advising members of the public, and particularly those from the LGBT community, to be diligent when accepting drinks from strangers, after a man had his drink spiked and personal property stolen.

    On Saturday, 5 June 2010 at approximately 03:00hrs, a 46-year-old man left a LGBT friendly venue on Charing Cross Road, WC2H.

    Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a robbery at a travel agent in Stone.

    An offender entered Thomson, on the High Street, at around 3.10pm on Monday 5 July.

    The offender entered the shop via the front door and grabbed one of the two female assistants by the arm and pushed her.

    E-fit released in hunt for three sex attackers: Bromsgrove

    Detectives hunting for a man and two youths who carried out a serious sex assault on a woman in a Bromsgrove alley have issued an e-fit image of one of the attackers.

    Officers believe the offenders are local and that someone will recognise the likeness, which has been compiled with help from the victim.
