  • Gang chase and assault 13-year-old before taking his bike: Slough

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old boy was robbed in Slough.

    Between 6.45pm and 7pm on Saturday 20 February, the teenager was cycling in Salt Hill Park when he was approached by a group of about six or seven Asian youths.

    The youths, who are all male, chased the teenager from the park along the Bath Road to Lansdowne Avenue.

    A burglar purporting to be a police officer pushed his way into to an elderly woman's home in the Ashlawn area of Rugby, stole her bag and left her locked inside her property.

    The man, wearing a dark zip up jacket approached the 86 year old woman while she was putting some rubbish out at shortly before 10pm on Wednesday 3 March.

    Police have issued photos taken from CCTV of a man they want to speak to, in connection with an incident in a taxi.

    The incident happened just after 10pm on Saturday, January 16, after a man and woman were picked up from Loughborough train station and taken to Sileby.

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after an attempted abduction yesterday in Ashridge Road, Wokingham yesterday (1/3).

    At 3.20pm, a 12-year-old girl was walking home from school when a man grabbed her hand and wrist and attempted to pull her into a car.

  • Girl escapes early hours attacker, witness sought: Lings Way, Northampton

    We are appealing for information about an assault that occurred in Lings Way, Northampton during the early hours of Thursday 25 February.

    A girl was walking along Lings Way between 0010hrs and 1am, listening to music on ear phones.

    A man walked up to her, grabbed her and placed his right hand around her mouth.

    The girl managed to escape and ran away.

  • 50-year-old woman assaulted and robbed: College Bounds, Aberdeen

    Grampian Police is investigating an incident during which a 50-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed.

    The crime occurred about 22.45pm on Saturday 27 February 2010, on College Bounds, Aberdeen.

    The victim was left shaken by the incident, but was uninjured.

    She was robbed of a small figure sum of money and other items she was carrying at the time.

    Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery that took place around 6.40pm on Friday 26th February.

    A 70-year-old woman was waiting for a taxi in Hawthorn Road when she was approached by a man who demanded her purse from her.

    The victim refused and was threatened with what is believed to be a knife.

    The owner of the house was home at the time and went downstairs to investigate what the noise was.

    When he got into his kitchen, he felt an arm grab him by the neck.

    City and Holbeck CID have released an e-fit of a man they want to trace in relation to an incident in Whitehall Road, Drighlington, on Sunday, 31 January.

    A 16-year-old girl was walking along Whitehall Road in the direction of Gildersome at 11.20pm when a maroon estate car containing two men pulled up next to her as she neared the Valley Inn.

    Police are appealing for witnesses and information in connection to a robbery at the Plough public house, Main Street, Catcliffe in the early hours of Saturday 20th February.

    At about 12:30am, while the 43 year-old female manager of the Plough was cashing-up by the till area, three men wearing balaclavas burst into the pub and pushed the manager to the floor.

    The incident happened at about 4am on Sunday morning (February 21) near Tribe nightclub in Green Street.

    Witnesses are being sought for an incident on the number 32 bus to Bell Green in Coventry at 2300hrs (11pm) on 8th Feb 2010.

    A 20-year-old deaf woman was sitting on the lower deck of the bus when she was approached by an intoxicated man and was subsequently assaulted.

    Police are seeking a male who was sitting behind the victim as a witness and had to intervene.

    British Transport Police (BTP) has issued CCTV images after a man acted aggressively towards two members of rail staff on a train as it left Grimsby railway station.

    Officers are looking to identify the man pictured as part of an ongoing enquiry into the incident, which occurred on Thursday 19 October 2009, on the 14.39 Grimsby to Cleethorpes train service.

    Appeal to victim as man arrested trying to push girl onto tracks: Loughton

    British Transport Police (BTP) detectives are appealing for the teenage victim to come forward after it appeared a man tried to force her off the platform and onto the tracks at Loughton Tube station.

    A man has been arrested but police are yet to identify the girl.

    The incident happened at around 4pm on Thursday 18 February.
