- Dog disturbs intruders attempting entry via window: Needham Market
Quinton Road, Needham Market between 3am and 3.30am 28/07/10.
Offenders have attempted to gain entry to a house through a window but were disturbed by a dog.
Two males, one wearing a white hooded top and the other wearing dark clothing, were seen to run from the property.
- Bike thefts and attempted burglary at Center Parcs: Elvedon
Between 9.30pm 12/07/10 and 7.50am 13/07/10 a mans grey Carerra Kraken mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa.
Between 11pm 12/07/10 and 8.30am 13/07/10 a mans Specialized Rockhopper mountain bike has been stolen from outside a villa.
- Three men attempt to break into stables: Cowlinge
Mill Lane, Cowlinge at around 11.05pm 07/07/10.
Three white males of large build have been disturbed attempting to break into stables, they left in an estate car towards Great Bradley.

- Barking dog deters burglar: Felixstowe
Someone attempted to gain entry to a home in Church Lane in Felixstowe via an insecure window around 1am yesterday, Monday 5 July.
It appears the would-be burglar was disturbed - and residents alerted to the incident - by a dog at the property, which started barking.
- Intruders attack owner's dog with shovel: Green Lane, Kinmel Bay
Police are seeking information relating to an attempt burglary, which left a dog injured, at an out house on Green Avenue in Kinmel Bay.
The offenders are believed to have used a hand digger (small shovel type implement) to gain entry to the property via a window, between 17 and 20 June.
- Thieves attempt to remove copper plaque from war memorial: Hemel Hempstead
Police are appealing for further information and witnesses to the damage of a war memorial on Belswains Lane, Hemel Hempstead earlier this month.
Between around 6pm and 6.30pm on Thursday, June 10, it is believed offender(s) approached the war memorial next to the construction site and attempted to remove the copper plaque causing damage.
- Police seek suspect with 'Beatle haircut' following attempted burglary: Gargrave Road, Skipton
Officers were alerted at around 2pm on Tuesday 22 June 2010 after a member of the public heard a house window being smashed on Gargrave Road, before seeing a man running away in the direction of Skipton.

- Suspected burglar caught on resident's CCTV: Bulwell
Police need the public's help to identify this man wanted in connection with a series of attempted burglaries and thefts.
The man was captured on a resident's CCTV in Bulwell, Nottingham, attempting to break into their home, at 2.51am Friday June 4.
- Allotment shed door damaged in attempted break-in: Kings Lynn
Officers from Kings Lynn are appealing for information in relation to an attempted burglary at Tennyson Avenue.
The incident happened between 9am on Friday 28 May and 9am on Monday 31 May 2010 at Wardles Chase.
The victim found that his allotment shed door and fence had been damaged by someone attempting to gain access to the shed.
- Unsuccessful attempt to open safe at infants school: Ipswich
Waterford Road, Ipswich between 6:30pm Tuesday 25/05/10 and 7am Wednesday 26/05/10.
Entry was forced to the office of an infant school and a search was made.
An unsuccessful attempt was made to open a safe before offenders left the premises.
- Man disturbed attempting to rob charity shop: Newmarket
Wellington Street, Newmarket between 10.25am and 10.35am 19/05/10.
A male has entered a charity shop and gone into the staff area where he was disturbed tampering with the safe.
He claimed to be looking for a toilet and left, nothing was stolen.

- Fruit machine damaged in pub break-in: Haverhill
Camps Road, Haverhill between 2.35am and 2.40am 18/05/10.
Two offenders have broken into a pub by forcing a window and then damaged a fruit machine, it is unclear if anything has been stolen.

- Woman disturbed by tapping noise on bedroom window: Scole
Officers from Norfolk police are appealing for information in relation to an attempted burglary at Reeve Close, Scole.
The incident happened at around 10pm on Sunday 16 May, when the occupant was disturbed by a tapping noise on her bedroom window.
She then noticed three males acting suspiciously in her garden.
- Robbers take eight air rifles from barn after earlier burglary fails: Uley
Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary and a burglary in Uley over the weekend.
Between 6.10pm on Friday May 14 and 1.10pm on Saturday May 15 unknown offenders attempted to gain entry to Prema Arts Centre on South Street in Uley by smashing two windows.
Nothing was stolen in the incident.
