  • Show birds targeted as 22 pigeons taken from allotment: Guisborough

    Police would like to appeal for witnesses after 22 pigeons were stolen from an allotment off Rectory Lane in Guisborough between 5.30pm on Tuesday 23rd February and 8am on Wednesday 24th February.

    The suspect forced the shed door and removed:

  • 36 pigeons stolen from allotment shed: Bedlington

    Police in Bedlington are appealing for information after the theft of pigeons.

    Between 12.30pm on Tuesday, March 9 and 9am on Wednesday, March 10 thieves have entered an allotment in Court Road, Bedlington, and stole 36 pigeons from a shed, before making off unseen.

  • Pillowcases used to carry stolen goods in house burglary: Ab Kettleby

    Officers from Melton local policing unit are appealing for witnesses after a home was burgled in Ab Kettleby, Melton Mowbray.

    The incident took place sometime between 9pm on Friday March 5 and 9.30am on Saturday March 6 when a house in the Belvoir Avenue area of Ab Kettleby was broken into and a number of items were stolen.

  • Rolex watch stolen from house: Fosse Road South, Leicester

    Police are appealing for information about the current whereabouts of a stolen Rolex watch.

    The owner discovered that the watch was gone from his home, on Fosse Road South, at about 1.30pm on Tuesday March 2.

    He last saw the watch on Friday February 26, when he left home for the weekend.

  • Winston Churchill medal taken in burglary: Rubery

    Police are appealing for witnesses and information after commemorative medals, including one honouring Sir Winston Churchill, were stolen in a burglary at Rubery.

    An unsuccessful attempt was made to break into a neighbouring property in Beverley Road over the same weekend and householders in the area are being warned to remain vigilant and ensure their homes are secure.

  • IPods and camera taken in burglary: The Entry, Diss

    Officers from Norwich are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at The Entry, Diss.

    The incident occurred at some point during Monday 8 March 2010.

    The suspect gained entry to the property and stole three iPods and a Sony cybershot digital camera.

  • Bottle of Channel perfume and cash taken in burglary: Old Portsmouth

    Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Old Portsmouth.

    At some time between Wednesday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 9 a burglary occurred at the home of a man, aged in his 60s, on Broad Street, Old Portsmouth.

    The offenders gained access by forcing a rear door, and once inside made a search of the premises.

  • Fishing equipment and tools stolen from shed: Bury St Edmunds

    Northumberland Avenue, Bury St Edmunds between 6pm 09/03/10 and 9.30am 10/03/10.

    Offenders have gained entry to an insecure shed and stolen fishing equipment and tools.

  • £45,000 rare medals stolen during house burglary: Canvey Island

    Rare medals have been stolen during a house burglary on Canvey Island.

    Burglars entered a house in Central Avenue, Canvey Island some time between March 2 and March 9, 2010 while the residents were on holiday.

    They returned to find a side window had been forced open and a messy search had been made of their home.

    Amongst items stolen are:

  • Silver ornate ciboria (communion cups) stolen from St Ninian's Cathedral: Perth

    Police in Perth are appealing for information after two distinctive silver ornate ciboria (communion cups) were stolen from St Ninian's Cathedral in North Methven Street.

    The thefts happened on two separate occasions.

  • Cash and precious jewellery taken in house burglary: Durrington
    Cameo brooch amongst jewellery taken in burglary: Durrington

    Wiltshire Police are appealing for information regarding a burglary which occurred at a property in Marina Crescent, Durrington on Sunday 28th February 2009.

    The offender(s) gained entry to the house by forcing open a rear window and removed cash and items of jewellery including gold rings and a gold rotary ladies watch.

  • Playstation taken in burglary: Angel Road, Norwich

    Officers from Norwich are appealing for information in relation to a burglary at Angel Road.

    The incident occurred between 9pm on Saturday 6 March and 8:30am on Monday 8 March 2010.

    The suspect gained entry to the property and stole a Playstation 3 console, controllers and games were stolen.

    Two Nintendo DS consoles were also taken.

  • White Star Line silver teapot amongst items stolen in burglary: Belfast

    At approximately 9:30pm, two males entered a property in the area.

    One of the males stayed with the female resident of the house while the other went upstairs to the bedroom.

    Entry was gained to a safe in the bedroom and a number of items of jewellery were taken including rings, a bracelet and a locket.

    The victims were burgled at their home on Great Stone Road at about 7.30pm on 17 February 2010.

    The couple were out when the thieves forced open a window and, once inside, cut the wires to the alarm.

  • Alcohol and bikes stolen: Aalsmeer Rise, Spalding

    Police are appealing for information after alcohol and bikes were stolen from a garage in Spalding.

    Thieves broke into the garage between 5.30pm on March 3 and 8am on March 5.
