    Racist graffiti on buildings and pavements: Quorn

    Officers from Charnwood local policing unit are appealing for public help after two incidents of damage in Quorn.

    The incident is believed to have taken place sometime during the morning of Sunday February 28.

    Racist letters were painted on to two buildings and pavements at the Quorn Country Hotel and Quorn Village Hall in Leicester Road.

  • Youth sought after garden wall damaged: Bromsgrove

    Police want help to identify a youth responsible for kicking down part of a garden wall in Bromsgrove in broad daylight.

    It happened at 4.10pm on Tuesday (March 9) when a group of around eight teenagers, some of whom were girls, were walking along Brook Road in the direction of Sanders Park.

    They were all white and aged about 14 or 15.

  • Thirty cars damaged in spate of vehicle crime: Redditch

    West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses and information after at least 30 cars were damaged in a spate of vehicle crime in Church Hill, Redditch, last weekend.

    Cars were damaged at a number of addresses including Deans Close, Flanders Close, Fulbrook Close, Cleeve Close and Edgeworth Close.

    Two thermometers have been damaged outside a house.

    Groton Street, Groton between 9pm 06/03/10 and 9am 07/03/10.

    A concrete statue has been taken from a garden and moved across the road, causing damage.

  • Two headstones pushed over at Cathedral: Brechin

    Tayside Police are appealing for information after two headstones were damaged at Brechin Cathedral.

    The headstones, which were adjacent to one another, had been pushed over between 10am on Sunday 28 February and 8am on Sunday 7 March.

    Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious are asked to contact any police officer or call 0300 111 2222.

    Police appeal for information following graffiti incidents: Ashcott

    Police in Somerset West are appealing for information surrounding a number of instances of graffiti in the village of Ashcott, near Bridgwater.

    Over the last week Graffiti has appeared on a number of buildings in the village including at the playing fields and on a residential building.

    On each occasion the graffiti is in black bubble writing.

  • Plastic lettering taken from wall of church: Leiston

    Someone removed plastic lettering from the wall of the Baptist Church in John Street between Friday 26 February and Friday 5 March.

    Some of the letters were found discarded in a garden behind the church on Sunday 28 February and therefore it's thought all the letters would have removed over this weekend.

  • Store cupboard in toilet block broken into: Blythburgh

    Someone attempted to break into a store cupboard in the toilet block at Tobys Walk in Blythburgh between 7.30am on Friday 26 February and 7.30am on Tuesday 2 March.

    It appears someone kicked in a door to gain entry to the block and then attempted to gain entry to the store.

    Damage was caused to a lock in the process.

  • JCB 360 Compactor damaged at waste site: Haverhill

    Coupals Road, Haverhill between 5.30pm Wednesday 03/03/10 and 8.00am Thursday 04/03/10.

    Entry was gained to a household waste site and damage was caused to a JCB 360 Compactor by smashing one of its windows.

  • Traffic cones and road signs smashed with hammer: Rougham

    A14, 9.45pm Thursday 25/02/10.

    Damage was caused to traffic cones and road signs at Junction 45 of the A14 at Rougham by smashing them with a hammer.

    Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information.

  • Appeal after gravestone chipped and defaced: Lorton Cemetery, Cockermouth

    Cockermouth Police are appealing for information after vandals damaged a headstone at Lorton Cemetery.

    Officers are investigating after the headstone of a joint grave of an Uncle and a Grandfather was chipped and defaced and the surrounding plant pots were smashed.

  • Thieving vandals target vans in one street: Wigston

    Police in Wigston are appealing for the publics help after receiving a number of reports of vans being damaged.

    On Thursday February 25 seven vans that were parked in Countesthorpe Road, both on the road and in a car park, had their locks damaged.

    In five of the seven incidents tools were taken from the vans, including drills, saws, and two laptops.

  • Community centre smeared with paint during break-in: Yateley

    Police are appealing for witnesses after a community centre was broken into in Yateley overnight between Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28.

    Sometime between 3.30pm on Saturday and 4.30pm on Sunday the Monteagle Community Centre in Tresham Crescent was broken into.

    Paint was then smeared across the tiled floor and spilt over plastic chairs.

  • Ceramics smashed and pixies decapitated as vandals target Memorial: Reigate

    Police officers from Reigate and Banstead's Safer Neighbourhood Team are asking for the public's help following criminal damage at a Garden of Remembrance in Reigate.

    Sometime between Friday, 26 February, and Monday, 1 March, a number of ornaments which had been left at the Bancroft Court garden by relatives and loved ones were destroyed.
