  • Five cockerels and silver Sussex chicken stolen: Coney Weston

    Rushford Road, Coney Weston between 8.30am 20/02/10 and 1.55pm 21/02/10.

    Five cockerels and a silver Sussex chicken have been stolen from a garden.

  • Chickens and chicken equipment stolen from coop: Tostock

    Church Road, Tostock between 3pm 15/02/10 and 6.30am 16/02/10.

    Seven chickens, two chicken houses, a chicken feeder, three waterers and a wheelbarrow have been stolen from an insecure coop on allotments.

  • Rare breed chickens stolen from property: Gordon Terrace, Twywell

    Police are appealing for witnesses following theft of chickens in Gordon Terrace between 5.30pm and 5.57pm on Wednesday 10th February.

    Several rare breed chickens were stolen from a property in Gordon Terrace, Twywell.

    It is believed the offender(s) gained access to the rear of the property and stole the chickens from a secure enclosure.

  • Two chickens stolen from garden: Burgate

    Sycarmore View, Burgate between 9am and 3.30pm 03/02/10.

    Two chickens have been stolen from a garden.

  • Five chickens stolen from allotments: Shotley Gate

    Main Road, Shotley Gate between 1pm 23/01/10 and 6.30am 24/01/10.

    Offenders have broken into a shed on an allotment by forcing the lock and stolen five chickens.

  • Three Blue Jersey Giant hens stolen: Tostock

    Church Road, Tostock between 7pm 25/01/10 and 8am 26/01/10.

    Offenders have gained entry to an insecure shed and stolen three Blue Jersey Giant hens, a feeder and a water dispenser.

  • Six Bronze turkeys and one Norfolk Black stolen from allotment: Kettering

    Seven turkeys have been stolen from an allotment just off Northfield Avenue, Kettering.

    The six Bronze turkeys and one Norfolk Black were stolen from the allotment sometime between 7am and 9am on Saturday 12 December.

  • Nine white cockerels stolen from farm: Boddington Road, Byfield

    The white cockerels, which have been promised to people as gifts for Christmas, were stolen from the farm sometime between 6pm on Tuesday 8 December and 6am on Wednesday 9 December.

    Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in this area overnight on Tuesday to come forward, or anyone who may have been offered a cockerel for sale.

  • Silky bantam hens stolen from garden: Cockermouth

    10 small black silky bantam hens were stolen from the rear garden of a house in Embleton, Cockermouth between the hours of 9.30 pm on 16th August and 7am on 17th August 2009.

    Police are appealing for any information regarding the theft to contact Cumbria Police on West Area Help Desk or speak to any officer on 0845 33 00 247.

    Polish Mophead Chickens amongst poultry stolen from allotments: Hartlepool

    The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between the evening of 8th September 2009 and the morning of 9th September 2009.

    Thieves stole three Silky White Chickens, two Black/White Polish Mophead Chickens and six ducks (in a variety of dark and white colours) from an allotment on the site.

  • Three cockerels killed in garden and two stolen: Boyton Road, Ipswich

    Boyton Road, Ipswich at about 3.40am on Tuesday 10.11.09. Offenders have gained access to a garden at a residential property and have stolen two Red Island cockerels from within. Three other cockerels were also killed. 

  • Arson attack on barn kills 50 rare breed chickens: Chipping Sodbury

    Police are appealing for information about an arson attack on a barn near Chipping Sodbury that killed 50 rare breed chickens.

    The corrugated iron and timber building was set alight at around 8pm on Monday, November 9. Bales of hay and a number of lawn mowers and other gardening equipment were also destroyed.

  • Chicken killed in allotment break-in: West Road, Prudhoe

    Police are appealing for witnesses after a break-in at an allotment in Prudhoe.

    Between 5.30pm on Tuesday, September 22 and 6.15pm Friday, September 25, vandals broke into an allotment at Leaburn House, West Road, Prudhoe, caused damage to hen boxes inside and killed a chicken in the process.

  • Two pet chickens and a rabbit killed by intruder: Broughton Astley

    The incident happened sometime between 8am and 3pm on Tuesday October 13 in the back garden of a house on Frolesworth Road when two chickens and a rabbit were killed.

    A second rabbit was injured and taken to the vets. The vets confirmed to the owner three days later that the injuries were not consistent with an animal attack and she then phoned the police.

  • 23 rare breed chickens and 2 turkeys stolen: Reepham

    Officers at Norfolk Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to an incident of theft in Reepham.

    The incident happened between 5.30pm on Monday, October 26, and 8.30am on Tuesday, October 27, at Kerdiston Road.

    Offender(s) entered a paddock and stole twenty three rare breed chickens and two turkeys.
