    A Violin has disappeared from Cambridge train station, most likely on a train to Liverpool Street in London.

    The instrument is in a black case with an embroidered black strip near the handle with owner's first name.

    Inside is a Violin and three bows, two metronomes and various other items.

    A valuable guitar has been stolen from a Halesowen music shop.

    The electric guitar was taken from display inside the Music King shop on Shenstone Industrial Estate, Bromsgrove Road on 13 December 2009.

    A customer entered the shop and was looking at the instrument, before leaving the shop with it, without paying.

    We are appealing for information about the theft of an electric keyboard which was stolen from the pedestrianised area of Abington Street in Northampton town centre at around 3.30pm on Wednesday 23 December.

    The keyboard belongs to a woman who regularly plays in Abington Street in order to raise money for a local charity.

    Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of two guitars outside the Foundryman public house, St James between 11.30pm and 11.40pm on Saturday 28 November.

    Officers have released images of the distinctive guitars, which were stolen along with the cases, while the owner was packing away his musical equipment.

    In an attempt to track down the original articles, police in North Tyneside have released a photograph of a guitar similar to those stolen in a burglary.

    Officers initially appealed for witnesses earlier this month following the theft of guitars, amplifiers and tools from a shed in Dudley between 12.30am on Sunday, October 3, and 8am on Monday, October 5.

    Photographs of stolen musical instruments were released by detectives who are investigating a theft from The Music Shop, Pier Street, Ventnor.

    At about 1.30am Saturday, May 16, thieves broke into the shop, taking about £5,000 worth of instruments.

    The stolen goods include a saxophone and several guitars.

    Police are appealing for information after guitars and equipment worth over three thousand pounds were stolen from an address on Briar Drive in Dewsbury.

    The burglary occurred between 9:10am and 7:30pm on Wednesday 6 May 2009.

    Taken were two Ibanez guitars, two amplifiers, a processor and three effect pedals.

    A bag left unattended at a bus stop opposite the army cadet hall in Strathmore Avenue was stolen sometime between 9pm and 9.30pm on Thursday 2 April.

    The navy blue nylon bag has a fleece lining and contained a set of Shepherd (make) bagpipes which are worth around £800.
