A Brannen-Cooper Flute was stolen on 10th June 2008 from Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
It is a solid silver open holed flute with a C# trill key and only a C foot joint. Serial no: 4446

A rare handmade bassoon by Jeremy Soulsby of Hereford was left on a train between Cardiff and Swansea on October 17th 2007
The case containing a flute and a piccolo instruments was left on the Thameslink train London to Bedford on 10.7.02 at 22.31
A flute by Arista has been lost on a Thameslink train travelling from London to Bedford.
The Arista model is O/H E Mec, serial no.: 430 and it was manufactured in 2001.
The bassoon was manufactured by Schreiber.
It has a missing cork on the left hand e flat key and also bits of green felt on it and several dents.
It was in a Wiseman cylindrical case. The music pouch of the case contains photocopies of orchestral excerots and Academy music. It also contained 4 crooks and 6 reeds.
This flute is made of 9ct gold with an E mechanism and B footjoint. The concert flute head joint is made of 14ct gold.
It was made by the Flutemakers Guild in 1982 the serial number is FMG 512.
On 23rd June 2004 it was stolen from an office at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
It did not have a case.
Poice are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary in Welwyn Garden City on Wednesday, July 9.
The incident occurred between 1am and 10am when an offender entered a property in Carve Ley through an insecure rear UPVC sliding door and stole property within.
