Photographs of stolen musical instruments were released by detectives who are investigating a theft from The Music Shop, Pier Street, Ventnor.
At about 1.30am Saturday, May 16, thieves broke into the shop, taking about £5,000 worth of instruments.
The stolen goods include a saxophone and several guitars.
These are:
A handmade solid silver flute was stolen from a train.
It was made by Wm. S. Haynes and has a Powell Silver head joint with gold lip plate, with open holes, C foot, retuned.
Serial no: 30535.

These two instruments were taken during a burglary sometime between Friday August 22nd and 2130hrs Monday August 25th 2008.
