    Rare Sandberg bass guitar stolen from street corner: Brixton, SW9

    A red Sandberg California JM-4 bass guitar was stolen from the corner of Nealden Street and Landor Road in Brixton/Stockwell just before 3:00am on Sunday 11th December 2011.

    The bass was in a black TGI gig bag with blue trim.

    The bag also contained a SansAmp Bassdriver preamp pedal and a Boss TU-3 chromatic tuner pedal.

    Can you please be on the lookout for my drum kit (old 1970's pearl kit) its silver with a Chrome Egyptian hieroglyphics pattern (the same as a Mapex Babylonian snare that was released a few years ago).

    Due to the rareity of the covering, I know at some point it will show up as I've never seen one like it, before or since.

    Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of two guitars outside the Foundryman public house, St James between 11.30pm and 11.40pm on Saturday 28 November.

    Officers have released images of the distinctive guitars, which were stolen along with the cases, while the owner was packing away his musical equipment.

    In an attempt to track down the original articles, police in North Tyneside have released a photograph of a guitar similar to those stolen in a burglary.

    Officers initially appealed for witnesses earlier this month following the theft of guitars, amplifiers and tools from a shed in Dudley between 12.30am on Sunday, October 3, and 8am on Monday, October 5.

    Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Tipton Road, Sedgley on Wednesday 10 December between 12.00noon and 4.50pm.

    Four electric guitars were stolen from the address and as well as one acoustic guitar with a collective value of over £3,000.

    A drum kit worth thousands of pounds was stolen from a car in Manchester.

    The vehicle, which was parked secure and unattended on Harrison Street, Ardwick, was broken into sometime between 9 October 2008 and 16 October 2008.

    A man broke into a flat in Bouverie Walk, Northampton, and stole an acoustic guitar on Saturday afternoon.

    Sometime between 1.40pm and 2.10pm the man entered the ptoperty and took the blue guitar before leaving on foot and heading in the direction of the Jekyll and Hyde public house on the Wellingborough Road. The guitar was not in a case.

  • Theft of guitar from Loft Bistro: Kinloss, Forres

    Grampian Police are investigating a theft in the Kinloss area of Moray.

    The incident occurred between 11.30PM Saturday 8 November 2008 and 7.30 PM hours on Tuesday 11 November 2008, at The Loft, East Grange of Kinloss

    As a result of the incident, an Epiphone electric guitar valued at a middle three figure sum was stolen.
