£30,000 tarmac roller stolen from building site: Sutton Courtenay

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a piece of machinery was stolen from a building site in Abingdon Road, Sutton Courtenay on Thursday (27/5).

It is believed that the £30,000 tarmac roller was stolen sometime on Thursday morning.

PC Robert Maris, investigating the incident, said:

"The tarmac roller is a yellow BOMAG 80 ADH-2 twin roller with ‘Morgans Plant Hire' written all over it in gold and black.

"I would like to speak to anyone who has seen it, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously on Wednesday night, or early Thursday morning, around the building site area."
