My beaver tail car transporter was stolen from Chipping Norton.
It was made by Alexander trailers of Manchester.
It is a 3500kg, twin axle, beaver tail with twin runways in alloy checker plate and ramps which stand up vertically at the back.
The ramps are distinctive as one of them has 3 0r 4 large lightening holes drilled in it at the top.
The frame of the trailer is alloy as well.
Obviously the wheels are under the bed.
The wheels and tyres are from a fork lift truck and are very distinctive and expensive.
They are square shouldered and have a high profile.
The A frame is distinctive as well as it has been cut about to accept a different hitch.
This makes it look a little untidy.
There is a frame at the front of the A frame to mount a winch.
Some of the centre section has been filled in with flat alloy plate.
There are round metal disks on the backs of the ramps which were used to attach magentic rear lights to.
The trailer is 16" long by 6" wide.
Generally this trailer looks very different to the majority of trailers you see on the road.
