Police are appealing for information after the theft of a number of Koi Carp in Morpeth.

Between 8.15pm on Monday, June 7, and 4.25am on Tuesday, June 8, thieves have entered a number of gardens in the Green Lane area and stolen around 20 Koi carp from a pond at the rear of one of the houses.

Police are appealing for anyone who may be offered the Koi Carp for sale or who has any information into the theft to contact police on 03456 043 043 ext 69191.
