Skipton police have released photos of a suspected stolen quad-bike and are appealing for the owner to come forward.
Officers recovered the bike recently and suspect it may have been stolen as the chassis and serial numbers have been ground off.
Sergeant Paul Taylor of Skipton police said:
"We suspect the bike was stolen over the last six months, but our investigation has been hampered by not being able to trace the history of the bike and enquiries so far have failed to identify an owner.
"We would like to appeal to the owner of the bike, which we believe to be a Bashan 300, to contact us, or anyone else who has any information who could help us to trace its history, please get in touch."
Please contact Sergeant Taylor on 0845 6060247 ext 3711.
