Police are appealing for witnesses after a blue and gold macaw was stolen from an address in Maltby Road, Beesby.

Between 10pm on Saturday 12 June and 7am on Sunday 13 June, the offender broke the locks off aviaries in the garden of the property, stealing the macaw and attempting to steal a white cockatoo which escaped.

The owner of the stolen bird welcomes further media assistance in tracing her pet and her contact details can be made available.
