A custom built horse trailer was stolen from Shute Hill in Lichfield yesterday (Thursday 10 September).

The five star hi trekker trailer is one of only five in the UK with the colour of metallic champagne gold with a red stripe.

The trailer, registration plate of FP52 UTH, was stolen sometime between 11am and 12:45pm.

Insp Kevin Mulligan, Burntwood's neighbourhood policing commander said:

"The horse trailer is very distinctive.

"We are appealing to anyone who saw anything or anyone acting suspiciously in the Shute Hill area of Lichfield or anyone who saw the trailer being driven to contact us."
