Lute-back Hurdy Gurdy made by Chris Allen was stolen on 12th October 2011 The Crescent, Breedon-on-the-Hill, Derbyshire.

It is described as:

  • pale wood with dark and light striped back
  • plain scroll head
  • 6 strings
  • d-g tuning
  • distinctive inlay for trompette as the first was placed incorrectly - about 1 inch away from current position
  • repair to tuning peg hole
  • makers label inside lid
