A classic gents road racing bike was stolen during this weekend.
The bike is described as:
- Metallic Gold frame of 531 double butted steel construction
- With the name SWINNERTON in black lettering on the front down tube
- 700c wheels (quick release) with black and yellow striped tyre bearing the name Vittoria Rubina Pro
- Green (Karrimor) rear double panniers with gold strap fastenings' and reflective strips on separate rear pockets
- Full length black mudguards
- Campagnolo (aged) double chainset with 44/52 teeth chainrings and 6-speed gear block to rear
- Tektro brakes with black brake lever hoods and yellow cork handlebar tape
- The seat post has a special black bracket to allow the attachement of a childs tag along style bike
- The pannier pockets contained a selection of spare tubes and tools to allow roadside puncture repairs etc
- The frame number (on the underside of the bottom bracket where the pedal cranks attach) is 5377
- Gear levers are on the front down tube
- The bike is typical of the style of 1970's early 1980's road racing style
