Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of two guitars outside the Foundryman public house, St James between 11.30pm and 11.40pm on Saturday 28 November.
Officers have released images of the distinctive guitars, which were stolen along with the cases, while the owner was packing away his musical equipment.
The first guitar is described as:
It was in a black Ovation guitar case.
The second guitar is described as:
It was in a black guitar case.
Officer Rebecca Thomas, investigating the theft, said:
"These items are of great sentimental value to the owner and are very specific in style.
"We are appealing for anyone who saw something or knows where these guitars are, to come forward.
"Given the specific nature of these items, there is a chance that they may be taken outside of the County, so we would urge anyone who knows anything to come forward."
