A quantity of home heating oil was taken from a tank adjacent to a house sometime between the 15th and 17th Feb 2011.

Also locks on workshops appear to have been tampered with. 

Householders are significantly increasing security and CCTV monitoring as a result.

Any information you may have on oil theft or unusual activities/vehicles/people in the area around that time or since please contact North Yorkshire Police on 0845 6060 247.
