Fife police is appealing for witnesses following the theft of an Iveco lorry, adapted to carry horses and an Ifor Williams horse box trailer from Fife Equestrian Centre, Kinglassie Road, Cardenden.

Detective Sergeant Jimmy Adamson, who is leading the investigation said,

"The theft of the vehicle and trailer took place during the early hours of the morning on Saturday 15th May 2010.

"It is believed that the vehicle was used to tow the trailer and that the vehicle had travelled south bound over the Forth Road Bridge.

"We are keen to speak to any members of the public who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or who have seen the vehicle and/or trailer after the theft."
