Musical instruments stolen from shop: Ventnor

Photographs of stolen musical instruments were released by detectives who are investigating a theft from The Music Shop, Pier Street, Ventnor.

At about 1.30am Saturday, May 16, thieves broke into the shop, taking about £5,000 worth of instruments.

The stolen goods include a saxophone and several guitars.

These are:

  • an Antigua silver gold alto saxophone
  • a Jaxville special edition cherry red guitar with inlaid flames
  • a Jaxville special edition tobacco sunburst guitar
  • a Peerless Port Town guitar
  • a cherry red Rockburn custom LT style guitar

"These instruments have not been located, and police want to hear from anyone who has seen them or been offered them for sale," said Detective Constable Piers Rochford.
