Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a tractor from a compound on the B1373 between Woodthorpe Hall and Woodthorpe Garden Centre.

The tractor is a blue New Holland 7040 tractor displaying the registration FX09 ESU and the theft occurred overnight between 6pm on Monday 12 April and 6.30am on Tuesday 13 April.

A padlock was broken to gain access to the compound and the tractor was disconnected from a trailer before it was stolen.
