Police are appealing for information after a pet cat was shot with what appears to have been an air weapon yesterday morning, Wednesday 21 April.

The incident happened between 9.30am when the cat was let out from its home in Redwald Road and 11.30am when it returned with the injury.

The two-year-old female cat was taken to the vet for treatment.

Anyone with information about someone firing an air weapon in the area between these times yesterday is asked to call PC 1539 Cobbold on 01473 613500.
