Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Rio stolen from garden: Grove Hill

Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog was stolen from a back garden at an address on Laurel Avenue in Grove Hill.

The ginger coloured female Staffordshire Bull Terrier, known as Rio, was stolen from a secure back garden between 10pm and 10.45pm on Saturday 10th April.

The dog is just over a year old and the gates of the garden had been forced in order to steal the dog.

Anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or may have seen the dog since it was stolen is asked to contact PC Russell Doherty of Grove Hill Neighbourhood Policing Team on 01642 303126.
