Police in Selby are seeking witnesses following the theft of three high value cars on Sunday 13 June 2010.

The theft occurred at approximately 7.30pm from commercial premises on Roall Lane, Kellington.

It is believed that four men entered a secure compound before forcing their way into a locked office from where they stole the keys to a number of cars.

The vehicles that were stolen were a green and silver Nissan Navara, a dark blue BMW X5 and a black Mitsubishi L200 Warrior.

They are each valued at several thousand pounds.

The men attempted to steal four cars.

However, one of the thieves crashed the car he had stolen as he exited the compound.

The offenders used a truck from the site to break open the main gates to the compound causing damage valued at thousands of pounds.

When they left the area, the thieves travelled in convoy, southwards on the A19 heading towards the M62.

Anyone who has any knowledge of where these cars are now or has any information that could help progress the investigation is asked to contact PC Ian Thomson, of the Eggborough Response Team on 08456 060247.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
