Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a trailer was stolen from a field in Ab Kettleby.
The trailer was last seen by the owner at about 7pm on Friday March 19 in the field on Nottingham Road.
At 5.15am the next morning (Saturday March 20) the trailer had gone.
Attached to the Bateman trailer were two units, a blue generator and a silver compact waste bailer.
Officers believe that the two units will help them locate and identify the stolen trailer.
PC Paul Anderson, the investigating officer, said:
"We would like to speak to anyone who knows the current whereabouts of the trailer or those who know who is responsible.
"The trailer is quite distinctive and we are hopeful that this will help us locate it and return it to it's owner.
"A vehicle of some kind would have been used to take the trailer.
"If you were in the Nottingham Road area of Ab Kettleby last Friday night or Saturday morning and can remember seeing someone driving a vehicle with the trailer attached, please call us."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 1921 Paul Anderson on Leicester (0116) 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 1921.
