Police are appealing for information after a fire killed two horses at a barn in Kippen, near Stirling.
The alarm was raised by police officers on patrol who saw the flames on Boquhan Estate around 1am on Monday December 7.
A Central Scotland Police spokeswoman said:
"We are currently investigating the cause of the fire and we appeal for anyone with any information or who saw anything suspicious to contact us."
