Two off-road motorcycles stolen from garage: Melton Mowbray

Officers from Melton local policing unit are appealing for public help after two off-road motorcycles were stolen.

The Honda CR-125 motorcycles were stolen from the garage of a house in the Leicester Road area of Melton sometime between 9pm on Monday April 12 and 8.30am on Tuesday April 13.

The first bike is described as:

• a 2004 model
• black and red
• with the graphics TRM on the side
• the number 515 on a number board

The second bike is described as:

• a 2006 model
• black and red
• with the graphics TORC on the side
• the number 517 on a number board

PC Chris Pearson is investigating the incident, he said:

"The bikes are quite distinctive and if anyone has seen similar motorbikes in the last couple of days I would ask them to contact me as soon as possible.

"Have you been approached by someone selling off-road motorcycles in suspicious circumstances ort have you seen them parked up in your street?"

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 2941 Chris Pearson on Leicester (0116) 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 2941.
