Police are appealing for information after two boats were stolen from an address in Rugby on Sunday afternoon.

Between 12 midday and 5.30pm on Sunday 21 February the rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) were stolen from a secure yard at REDS' Cottage Leap, Rugby.

The company "Reach Engineering & Diving Services" supply divers and equipment for commercial diving services.

The thieves are believed to have rammed the locked steel gates at the premises to gain access to the yard.

Once inside they have removed two trailers which had the Ribs mounted on them.

The specific models stolen were:

  • Excel Marine inflatable model XHD535 which is black & red in colour with a Toyatsu 40 Engine with centre console valued at £4,500.00
  • MACH 5mtr Rib which is black & orange in colour with a Yamaha 70/75hp Engine with centre colsole valued at £9,500.00

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the boats being towed through Rugby, or anyone who has information about their current whereabouts, or anyone who has been offered similar Ribs for sale.
