Police are appealing for help in tracing two valuable guitars stolen in a burglary in Leigh.

Sometime between 3pm and 7.30pm on Saturday 1 May 2010, burglars smashed a door window of a house on Cavendish Street, Leigh, and stole the guitars and a small amount of cash.

The guitars, which the victim is keen to be reunited with, are worth almost £4,000.

They are described as:

  • electric Fender guitars
  • one a Stratocaster model
  • dark around the edges and orange in the middle
