Unicorn taken from Malmaison Complex: Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a unicorn was stolen from Oxford.

The willow unicorn, which was made by pupils from St Phillip and St James School, was stolen from the Malmaison Complex in the evening of Wednesday 12 May.

PC Carl Davies, investigating the incident, said:

"The unicorn was made by the pupils as part of Oxford Art Weeks.

"The head teacher, who was involved in making the unicorn, is very disappointed that somebody has stolen the statue due to all the hard work of the children.

"I appeal to anyone who may have been approached by somebody attempting to sell the statue to contact police immediately."

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact PC Davies via Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111
