Detective Constable Lee Keeling of Worksop CID said:
"This was an extremely nasty incident in which a woman inside the house was assaulted and sustained serious facial injuries.
"The stolen watches are very distinctive and we are hoping, with the help of the images, that anyone who knows someone who has acquired similar items or has been offered similar watches for sale will contact the police."
A beige coloured cushion with a darker gold colour embroidered herringbone design was also taken.
DC Keeling added:
"We are appealing for anybody who saw men acting suspiciously, carrying a cushion of this description around the time and vicinity of the burglary.
"Similar incidents of this type have occurred in the South Yorkshire area and it is important that anybody with any information about those involved contacts the police immediately."
The offenders were wearing balaclavas and dark clothing.
One of the men was wearing a pair of cream coloured tracksuit bottoms with a dark coloured pattern running down the outside of the left leg.
Witnesses or anyone with information about the whereabouts of the stolen property are asked to contact Worksop CID on 0300 300 9999.
