Wooden Clinker built boat and equipment stolen: Stow Bedon, Attleborough

Officers are appealing for information following the theft of a boat and other marine equipment from land in Stow Bedon, near Watton.

The incident took place in Mere Road in the village some time between 8pm on Thursday, 27 August and 6.30am on Friday, 28 August.

Thieves broke into an outhouse on the land and stole items including a wooden Clinker built boat worth around £1,600 and a £3,200 Ifor Williams lorry trailer.

The boat was stained light brown on the outside with a white underneath and a red floor inside.

Other items taken include the following:

  • Honda petrol generator worth around £1,200
  • Blue Water petrol pump worth around £120
  • F J Lucas red lawn mower worth around £200
  • chain saw worth around £240
  • 20 to 30 planks of wood worth around £400
  • hand tools worth around £400
  • two life saving rings worth around £250

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the village or who may have spotted a boat matching the description given.
