POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after a concrete slab was thrown through a front door window pane in Hatfield.

The incident occurred at 12.40am on Sunday, November 16, at Cecil Crescent in Hatfield.

A car parked on the driveway of the house was vandalised before a concrete slab was then hurled through the glass in front door of the property, causing considerable damage.

PC Sue Loughran from the Harm Reduction Unit is investigating and said:

"This was a very frightening attack for the victim and we are very keen to person or persons responsible.

"If you have any information about this incident or were in the area at the time and believe you may have witnessed suspicious activity, please get in touch."
