Police in Blairgowrie are investigating a break in to a power company depot in the town's Keay Street.

The incident happened between 4.30pm Thursday 9th September and 7.45am the next morning when thieves entered Scottish and Southern Energy's compound, broke into a shed, and stole a large amount of copper piping valued at approximately £2500.

Given the weight of the copper, a vehicle must have been used in the commission of this crime.
